The Justin Boyce Memorial Scholarship is in honor of the loss of Justin Boyce.

 

The scholarship funds raised benefit local hockey players in need of financial assistance with the goal of not having to turn away youth who may not otherwise be able to participate without assistance.

 

The memorial is also focused on raising awareness of suicide prevention by educating teens and parents recognize risk signs for depression and other struggles teens have and help connect them with resources such as the 24-hour LIFELINE Suicide hotline.

 

The Justin Boyce Memorial Scholarship fund was set up by the Winterhawks Amateur Hockey Association and is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All donatation are tax deductible. A special thanks goes out to Jill Boeschenstein for her compassion and endless amounts of effort she has and is putting into this project.
